Last year a young dog was hit by a car in front of my house and left for dead. I took her to the Vet and thankfully she had no injuries. However, she had fresh scars and was nearly starved to death. The Vet said she is a Plott Hound and not even a year old but was obviously abused. I could not bring myself to take her to the shelter. Although we were a family of five with two cats and a very large dog at home, we took her in. I had hoped to find her a new home with in a short time, but have not had any luck. We named her Daisy and are still trying to find her a loving home. If you are interested in more information about Daisy, please email me. She is an absolutely amazing lady but I have too much on my plate already. She is a medium sized dog, house trained, loves being on a leash, had the rabies vaccine and is great with my kids and other pets.
