UPPER ATLANTIC GIRLS LACROSSE TOURNMANET

In an exciting Braveheart overtime win against local Integrity Lacrosse, the 2017 Blue Bay Area Girls came away victorious at this weekends Upper Atlantic Tournament in Downingtown Pennsylvania. 

The 2017 Bay Area Blue Lacrosse team, based out of Anne Arundel County Maryland, easily won their bracket to make it the finals; beating the competition by an average of 6 goals.  

This exciting final game started with a quick three-goal lead by Bay Area that was answered by the Integrity offense.  Bay Area’s girls did not give up.  Their patient attack and strong defense tied the game in regulation.   When the Braveheart overtime started, Bay Area’s goalie, Paige Kolbe stuffed a fast break then fed Tess Bradshaw who worked her way into position for the game winning shot.  Final score – Bay Area Lacrosse 7 – Integrity Lacrosse 6.
