Anne Arundel LWV to Sponsor Events on Voter Registration Day, September 24

The Anne Arundel County League of Women Voters is planning two events to coincide with National Voter Registration Day, September 24. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., League members will be at the West Street Library to assist people who want to register to vote. The library is located at 1410 West Street in Annapolis. The League is also presenting a program, "Voting in the Digital Age," from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the Library. The program will examine changes in how we vote, as well as the ways in which technology is affecting the voting process. Among the speakers are Del. Jon Cardin; Adam Lioz from Demos, a public policy organization; and Rebecca Wilson from ”Save Our Votes," a nonpartisan organization. The public is encouraged to attend.
