At Kids Movement USA lessons are designed to enhance those perceptual motor skills that become the building blocks for good physical fitness and cognitive development. Children at all ages, but especially before the age of seven, learn best by moving and by participating in the various motor experiences. These experiences should be diverse and challenging while allowing for successes at each step of the way. Motor abilities, which are promoted in our program, include body image, balance, spatial awareness, hand-eye and foot-eye coordination (visual motor control), laterality, directionality, proprioception and form discrimination.
