Mrs. Sing's Kidsmusicart ENCORE Performance Ensemble -children's choir and instrumental ensemble will perform at the Holiday Tree Lighting.
The City’s Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony has been a holiday tradition here for over 50 years. You can be a part of this year's celebration on the grounds of the mansion at 7 p.m. when the caroling begins and the lights go on. After the tree is lit Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive atop a ladder truck, courtesy of the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department.
Admission is free, but a canned food donation for the Bowie Food Pantry is requested.

More About Belair Mansion and Stables
One of the oldest landmarks in the town and dating back to 1745, the Belair Mansion was bought by the City of Bowie for just one dollar in 1964 and served as its City Hall until 1978. Now classified as a museum, Belair Mansion offers tours of the grounds five days a week.
The Mansion is also available to rent for your special occasions. With reasonable pricing and a central location it is the perfect place to celebrate a wedding, graduation or hold a business function. Don't forget to swing by the stables while you're there to see where numerous prize winning horses, including the triple crown winner Gallant Fox, were raised for over 250 years.
