The title of this month's presentation is "Getting Started with Backyard Mushrooms."

The speaker, Paul Bulow, is a 26-year resident of Bowie, with a passion for growing mushrooms.  He will introduce growing mushrooms in your backyard or kitchen.  
Paul will also provide some basics for identifying mushrooms.  Additionally, he'll discuss inoculating logs with shiitake spores, as well as the different mushroom kits.  

There will be lots of hands-on material, from dried mushrooms and shiitake logs, to the various tools.  On display will also be a log that he inoculated last year.

A question and answer session will follow.

Closing out the evening will be the business portion of the meeting.  

Next month's meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at The Kenhill Center at 7:30 pm.
