The topic for this competition is “Open”: any subject, taken anytime, anywhere. Our judge for the night is Lew Lorton. Lew says: “My photography is guided by two beliefs: technical achievement in photography is only important when it hurts the impact or message of the shot and artistry dies not stop when the shutter button is pressed.” Club meetings are free and open to all. More About All Saints Lutheran Church
The congregation at All Saints Lutheran Church is engaged in the local and global community. The church offers two adult choirs, a Tuesday Bible study group and youth programs for middle and high schoolers. The church is also a key partner in the Bowie Food Pantry, and has sent service missions to build a school in Africa and help rebuild Biloxi after Hurricane Katrina. According to Pastor Gary Rhinesmith, the supportive relationships within the congregation make the All Saints community stand out.
