Who Has Super Plans for Sunday?

The National Restaurant Association estimates 12 million people will visit a restaurant or bar so leave a comment to let us know where you will be during the Super Bowl.

Whether you watch for the football or just to see the commercials, Patch wants to know where you will be on Sunday to watch the Super Bowl—out on the town or at home on the couch?

Around 12 million people are expected to visit a restaurant or bar on Sunday, according to the National Restaurant Association. Yet, the association estimates that four times as many people will just order takeout or delivery food from a restaurant.

When asked which food items are a "must have" on game day by the National Restaurant Association, here is how people responded:

  • Salsa, dips and spreads (69 percent)
  • Chicken wings (63 percent)
  • Pizza (61 percent)
  • Desserts (50 percent)
  • Subs and sandwiches (49 percent)
  • Healthful food items (42 percent)

Here are some nearby restaurants to try:

Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 10601 Martin Luther King Jr. Highway in Bowie, features chicken wings ranging from mild to "blazin" hot. Get your wings to take home or stay and watch the game.

Irish Channel, located at 1053 Route 3 North in Gambrills, will offer game day specials such as $2.75 domestic drafts in bottles and $3.75 margaritas—plus deals on pizza and wings.

Fat Boys Crab Shack, located at 1581 Defense Highway in Gambrills offers goodies such as shrimp and crab dip, plus Shack Wings. Check their Facebook page for specials offered on Sunday.

Uno Chicago Grill, located at 4001 Town Center Blvd. in Bowie, will host game day specials starting at 4 p.m. Washington Redskins player Travon Bellamy will be a guest bartender with a variety of specials, including $20 buckets of beer.

Leave a comment to let us know where you will be on Sunday and what you'll be eating.
