Visions for Vacancies: Restaurant in Hilltop Plaza
What new eatery would you like to see in Hilltop Plaza?
Would you like to see dining out options expand in Bowie?
Well, this 6,600 square foot "turn key" restaurant building located in Hilltop Plaza in Bowie has been vacant for several months. A "turn key" restaurant is one was vacated by a previous tenant leaving much of the equipment in place, making start-up for a new tenant that much easier, and likely cheaper. This large, free-standing building with plenty of parking is just begging for a tenant.
What restaurant would you like to see move into Hilltop Plaza? A new family friendly eatery, or perhaps a more upscale dining option? Tell us in the comments!

Bowie needs a non-chain family style restruant with American classics. A plance a family can get an excellent plate of pasta, chicken dishes, hamburgers and salads at a reasonable price.

There used to be a really great Vegetarian Restaurant in Old Town Bowie, but it closed a while ago... wish that was what would open there.

Jenni, the Outback was the last tenant, then they moved to there new location. Before that, it was an independent family restaurant. I think it was called the Bowie Inn, but I'm not sure.

I want to hear more about Happy Italian Delight. A few others (on Twitter) have mentioned wanted to see that restaurant come back as well.

There was a place in Arlington that I LOVED, but closed. It was called Restaurant 3 and it was a "bacon-centric" place that was AWESOME! If anyone can find the owners, let them know we'd love to have them in Bowie!

Perhaps a fun food rest. Something like the old Fabilous Flying Fritsby (sp?). There was one in Annandale Va. Fun (creative) versions of hamburgers and hot dogs. not too pricey either.
