I would never rent my house to anyone connected with Obama. Most likely my furniture would be stolen and my house trashed.

Really, Joe???? It's comments like yours that hurt relations between all human beings...if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all...hatred is ugly.

As with any rental, make sure you have a lease agreement in place and a security deposit. For a short term rental, you'll also need payment in advance (in addition to the security deposit). You'll also need to prepare a book or guide on how to operate things such as cableTV, computer, internet, garage door code. One other thing, factor in that you'll need to change your door keys and any codes you provide.
