SHOUT OUT: What Do You Think About George Zimmerman's Bond Release?
Zimmerman released on $150,000 bond in the early hours of Monday morning.
Florida resident George Zimmerman was released on $150,000 bond on Monday morning to await trial for the second-degree murder in the February shooting death of Trayvon Martin, reported the Washington Post.
He will be required to wear an electronic monitoring device until his trial.
The Post also reported that later that same day, the Sanford City Council rejected Police Chief Bill Lee’s resignation. Lee has been facing harsh criticism for his handling of the case.
Patch wants to know what you think about this case, which has garnered international media attention. Do you agree with Zimmerman's bond release, or should he have been held without bond until his trial? Should the Sanford City Council have accepted Lee’s resignation?
Tell us what you think in the comments!

I have no problem with a person having a right to post bond, but in this case, I think the amount of the bond was entirely too low.
