Car Windows Shattered with BB Gun in Levitt Sections
Someone used a BB gun to shoot out the windows of 12 cars between 10 and 11 p.m. Thursday night, according to a Bowie Police report.
The cars were all parked along several streets in the Kenilworth, Somerset, Tulip Grove and Buckingham sections of Bowie.
Four cars were hit on Kenhill Drive; three on Sadler Lane; one on Stonybrook Drive; two on Belair Drive; one on Blackwell Lane and one on Tulip Grove Drive.
The suspects may have been driving a black, two-door Honda.
Attempted Robbery
Just after 8 p.m. Sunday, three men surrounded a 22-year-old Bowie man and demanded money from him at the intersection of Enfield Drive and Edmond Way.
The victim said one of the suspects swung a large chain while another asked him if he had a dollar. The victim handed over his wallet, but there was no money in it. Upon seeing the empty wallet, one of the suspects demanded an apology from the victim.
The suspects then walked down Enfield Drive. They were overhead saying they were heading home.
The first suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 18-25 years of age, approximately 5'11", 170 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded shirt and a large, heavy chain. The second suspect is described as a black male, between 18-25 years old, approximately 5'8" and 160 pounds. He was also wearing a black hooded shirt. The third suspect was described as a black male between 18-20 years old and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
Attemped Robbery
At 10:15 p.m. Sunday, two men wearing masks and armed with a handgun tried to rob two men in the 8600 block of Railroad Avenue in Old Bowie.
One of the men patted down one of the victims, while the other suspect held a gun to the second victim and demanded money. When he refused, the suspect then said, "Bang, you're dead." The two suspects ran off.
Bowie police and Prince George's County K-9 were unable to locate the suspects.
The suspects are both described as black males, approximately 5'7" and 170 pounds. One suspect was wearing a black jacket and a black bandana. The second suspect was wearing black clothing and a white mask.
Pizza Delivery Man Punched, Robbed in South Bowie
A pizza delivery man was punched in the face and robbed while trying to make a delivery Saturday night, according to a Bowie Police report.
At 7:30 p.m., the victim was attempting to deliver a pizza to an address which did not exist. While trying to find the location, the victim called the suspect who met him at the intersection of Evensong and Europe Lanes. When the victim got out of his vehicle to hand the man the pizza, the suspect demanded money, punched the victim in the face and snatched the victim's personal money clip which contained $38.
The victim was treated on the scene for minor abrasions, police said.
The suspect is described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall, with short curly hair and a goatee. He was wearing a black hooded shirt.
