Police Arrest One Suspect, Issue Warrant for Another in Fatal Beltway Crash
Prince George's County Police have significant leads in car crash death of a fellow officer.
Prince George's County Police have charged one man, and have issued a warrant for a second person, in an alleged auto theft that led to a deadly police pursuit on I-95 and subsequent car crash death of a police officer.
Police charged Kenneth Clark Mitchell, 25, of the 5300 block of Clay Terrace, NE, Washington, DC, with auto theft.
The police also have issued a warrant for the arrest of a second occupant— Kevon Darnell Neal, 23, of the 3400 block of Gennene Lane in Fort Washington. He is also wanted for auto theft.
According to reports, police picked up Mitchell when he tried to reenter the Acura TL that was involved in the police pursuit on I-95 Monday.
Officer Adrian Morris, 23, of Laurel, was killed when the vehicle he was driving veered off the roadway and crash into a ditch. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at Prince George's Hospital Center. His partner, Officer Michael Risher, was injured, but released from the hospital Monday after receiving treatment.

So glad to hear good police work was able to locate and arrest the "suspects". Now if only the courts would lock them far, far away from us for a very long time. I don't object to paying more taxes if the money goes toward building more jails; apparently we need to lock lots of people away. The jails don't have to be very nice; can do without AC or nice finishes. Don't need TV, computer access or other amenities. Need to get all of the crazies/thieves/muggers out of the community.

They should be charged with the officers death. He died as a result of the dirt bags actions. So they killed that officer. They need some nice prison time! Too often PG counties court system does not prosecute offenders like they should. A prison sentence sends a bigger message than probation.

I agree with Hard Harry, they are responsible for death.

They should be charged with murder and put in jail for the rest of their lives.

WAKE UP PEOPLE. If we as tax payers cannot claim them on our tax returns for taking care of there SORRY @#%'s in prision, then save us our hard earned monies and just LAY THEM TO REST! CASE & PROBLEM SOLVED!
As for the comment above "I don't object to paying more taxes if the money goes toward building more jails; apparently we need to lock lots of people away. The jails don't have to be very nice; can do without AC or nice finishes. Don't need TV, computer access or other amenities". GET REAL, I DO NOT want to pay for any more jails! TAKE A LIFE - PAY WITH YOURS! As for being in prision and having all the features of home, thank the NAACP and all the other LIBERAL groups in this country who feel the need to insist that these LOW LIFE still have rights!

Heroes die young and this case proves it. Thank god no uninvolved people were hurt because of this criminal activity and the over zealous police response.

Damn shame, and if the officer was wearing a seatbelt things may have ended different. Tragic.

i think this is very said but the officer contributed to his own death... he chased them becuz they attempted didnt even succeed in a purse snatching.. there are 4 reasons y someone shud go on a high speed chase and this is not one.. also he was not wearing a seat belt knowing that is a requirement in law.. this is sad and horrible and they shud go to jail but not for his death..

charge them with the officers death, the otehr officers injuries of course then cut their heads off, being a democratic state we need to do it in a green way, so guillotine would be the proper way, it needs no electricy, you never even have to sharpen it. change the rope every couple years that is it

(@concerned citizen of Laurel) I always thought that should be taking in consideration the fact that you as a human only get to live one life and someone else takes a life and they are found guilty why are they still alive? Then people want to complain about prisons being overcrowded if you kill someone your life should be taken not only would it help create more space in the prison but I'm pretty sure it would decrease the crime rate
