Police Arrest Two on Marijuana Charges
Endeja Hassan Robinson, 29, and an unidentified man were apprehended with nearly one pound of marijuana in their possession.
Two Bowie men were arrested on charges of possessing nearly a pound of marijuana in the parking lot of T.G.I. Friday’s on Sept. 20, according to a Bowie police report.
Police said they were searching the parking lot after receiving a report of vehicle vandalism. Officers said they smelled what they perceived to be marijuana coming from a parked Ford Bronco.
According to the police report, Bowie resident Endeja Hassan Robinson, 29, and an unidentified man exited the truck when police approached, and did not respond when asked by police to stop. One suspect fled into the T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant, and the other fled on foot towards Collington Road. After a chase, police were able to apprehend both suspects.
Police searched the vehicle and found 443 grams of marijuana. The suspects are being charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and failure to obey a lawful order, according to Police Chief John Nesky.
