Cora Fogle, a Gambrills resident, had an extra sweet Halloween treat this year—she and her friends got to spend part of the night trick-or-treating with Bowie Baysox mascot Louie.
For two weeks in October, the Bowie Baysox hosted a raffle for Louie’s Holiday Hope Project, which benefits needy families during the holiday season. For $5, you could enter for the chance to win a night of trick-or-treating with Louie.
Cora's mom, Carrie Fogle, won the raffle for her daughter, who spent Halloween dressed as a Care Bear. Cora also invited some of her friends, who all got to experience a trick-or-treating party with Louie.
The raffle raised more than $100 for Louie’s Holiday Hope Project, according to Baysox Communications Manager Matt Wilson.
