I just hope they left the turtles... those have been in Bowie forever. I remember when they moved them to Allens Pond.

The turtles at Allens Pond are not the same ones that were at Market Place, they were unfortunately destroyed. There is an Facebook page devoted solely to memories of that turtle.https://www.facebook.com/bowieturtle

I didn't see the turtles when I was taking photos, Katie, but perhaps they moved them? I'll ask Mr. Hall.
