Memorial Day is about much more than backyard barbecues and pool openings.

On Saturday, May 26, the City of Bowie honored soldiers who have given their lives serving this country with a Memorial Day Parade.

The sun was shining, and the parade was colorful and well attended. Here are a few photos of Saturday’s event snapped by city staff.
