New Red Robin Gives Bowie Residents a Sneak Peak
Locals get a free trial of what Bowie Town Center's newest restaurant has to offer.
For three days, the new Red Robin Gourmet Burgers in Bowie Town Center gave customers a “sneak peek” -- in the form of a free meal -- before officially opening its doors Monday at 11 a.m.
“We’re excited to join the Bowie community and provide this community with unbridled service,” said new restaurant operations director Nick Kegg.
This Red Robin location is staffed largely by Bowie residents.
“Our staff is made up of 120 employees which we consider to be the best of Bowie,” said Kegg.
Bowie Red Robin General Manager Don Bergmann is very excited to be part of the Bowie community.
“I’m very happy to be here. One of our major goals is to be involved with the community. We would like to participate in fundraisers and do seasonal giveaways. One of our giveaways for the grand opening are child ID kits,” said Bergmann.
The kits contain room to collect vital information about a child such as fingerprints and photos.
The Colorado-based chain has partnered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, devoting one week a year to raising awareness about child safety.
“We hope to make a big impact in Bowie when we have our first child safety awareness week” said Bergmann.
Bowie resident Blake Anderson took part in the restaurant’s sneak peek with his family for dinner.
“I have always enjoyed Red Robin but the closest location to my house was Annapolis. That was always a major factor in me dining at the restaurant. It’s great to now have one in my neighborhood and it brings more variety to Bowie Town Center,” said Anderson.
The restaurant is also offering happy hour everyday from 3-6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to close with discounted drinks and appetizers.

I took the kids to Red Robin on opening day for a late dinner. Service was fast, the restaurant was bright, and the food was great!
