Election district boundaries and amending the fiscal year 2012 budget are just two of the items up for public hearing and possible action at tonight’s Bowie City Council meeting.

The council will also receive a tree canopy coverage recommendation from the city’s Environmental Advisory Committee, and hold a public hearing on a resolution to adopt a Sustainable Community Action Plan for 2012. Both of those items are also  up for possible action.

The council meeting will take place Monday night at 8 p.m. in the council chambers at the town hall. The meeting will also be televised live on Verizon Channel 10 and Comcast Channel 71, repeated on Wednesday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and web-streamed live at www.cityofbowie.org/studio.asp
