Jason Scott Trial Begins Today
Jason Scott, 28, of Upper Marlboro, is being tried for seven charges related to the 2009 deaths of a Largo woman and her daughter.
The trail of an Upper Marlboro resident previously sentenced to 100 years in prison on federal home invasion, child pornography, and firearms charges began today in Prince George's County
Scott, 28, has been charged with seven counts, including two counts of premeditated murder in connection to the 2009 deaths two Largo residents.
Deloris Dewitt and her daughter, Ebony Dewitt were found burning in a car not far from their residence in 2009. Scott is being tried for their murders. He is also facing charges related to the burglary and invasion of the Dewitt home.
In 2012, Scott was separately convicted and sentenced to 100 years in prision on charges stemming from four home invasions, including one in Bowie.
