P-E-A-K? I thought it was a pun, but there is no pun reference-- and since a *peak* rises, not goes inward, the pun wouldn't work, anyway. Thus I must assume it is a typo. A surprising one for a "journalist."

One issue I have with a posting like this is that there is so much more story behind the story. I think this post could really be enhanced with another 30 minutes of work. Three of the above listings are a result of foreclosures. The AOL links to those listings don't have that information. The process of buying those houses is more complicated, and the prices are going to be a bit lower. What I would like to know is what is the overall inventory picture for the Bowie area? Are foreclosures still a large percentage of the inventory? Are the number of foreclosures declining, increasing or staying the same? it would be helpful for the author to give a quick call to a local realtor. That is the sort of information that I would find helpful.

that would be a great piece to add, if only patch was a real estate site. Maybe this would be something that Patch would consider adding to their articles, I know I would read it.
