Prince George’s Little Theater’s run of Unnecessary Farce closes this weekend at the Bowie Playhouse with shows at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and a closing matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online here.
TNA Impact wrestlers will be at Prince George’s Stadium on Saturday for BaseBrawl, a family-oriented, interactive wrestling event. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 6:30 p.m. for the general public. The action begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online here.
No weekend in Bowie is complete without a visit to the Bowie Farmers Market, hosted from 8 a.m.to noon Sunday in the Bowie High School parking lot.
The Electric Company will be performing some 80s tunes at 7 p.m. Sunday as part of Bowie’s free Allen Pond Sunday Sunset Concert Series.
