A recent event at the Belair Mansion gave Bowie residents a glimpse into the city's history.
An event at the Belair Mansion over the weekend featured food, dance and dress from centuries ago. Wish dishes like "figgy" pudding, oatmeal flummery, and syllabub, a drink from the early 1700s, it was certainly an opportunity that doesn't come by every day.
