Gazette: Bowie High Improves to 1-1 After Win Against DuVal
Despite being outscored in the second half, the Bulldogs held on for the win.
According to the Gazette, the Bowie High Bulldogs boys basketball team improved to 1-1 after defeating the nearby DuVal Tigers on Friday night.
The Bulldogs came out strong, leading by 17 at halftime, and despite the Tigers strong efforts in the second half, they were able to hold on for a win. The Tigers fall to 0-2 with the loss, despite a huge performance from Kevin Kuteyi, the highest scorer in the game with 21 points.
