Thanks to a partnership between Prince George’s Parks, the Prince George’s County Board of Education, the Mark Norman Memorial Fund and the C. Elizabeth Rieg Regional School, the Mitchellville South Neighborhood Park Playground has been welcomed by the Bowie community as the first park to be fully accessible to children of all abilities run by the Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation.

The park is adjacent to C. Elizabeth Rieg and will be used by the children at that school daily, as well as those enrolled the Prince George’s Park’s therapeutic recreation program and neighborhood children.

My kids and I have enjoyed this park immensely. So glad the city continues to expand.
