East Moon Asian Bistro Provides Bowie With a Fusion Style Of Dining

East Moon is Bowie's best option for any Asian inkling with a variety of styles as well as a sushi bar.

For a flavorful, fresh, and friendly lunch or dinner in Bowie, East Moon Asian Bistro is a great option.  Located in the Shoppes at High Bridge, the three-year-old East Moon Asian Bistro has a variety of Asian cuisines: Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai.

East Moon also has extensive sushi bar options, which are staffed with New York trained sushi chefs.

The large menu includes over a dozen appetizers, 5 assortments of soups, and over 40 different entrees. On the menu the entrees are divided in categories of vegetables, meat, and seafood, which includes popular favorites such as General Tso's chicken, crispy duck and chicken teriyaki.

Some of the meat entrees can also be prepared in a "hot and spicy" style. At the sushi bar they offer sushi appetizers, sushi rolls or hand rolls, as well as sashimi, a Japanese delicacy, which consist of raw seafood sliced into thin pieces.

Also the restaurant's ambiance creates a relaxed atmosphere that provides a suitable place for casual dining. The interior has a cutting edge, uniquely dim décor that’s comfortable for a family outing or dinner date.

But the major question is what sets East Moon Asian Bistro apart from the many of the other eat in and take out Asian restaurants in the area?

Restaurant Manager, Eric Zhou says, “Our major emphasis here is the quality”.

East Moon only serves fresh vegetables, using no canned or frozen vegetables. Also for poultry entrees they only serve white meat. In addition to serving good quality food they try to use a minimal amount of oil so the foods still have a taste of freshness.

“We offer great service as well, service with a smile. ” said Zhou.

Monday through Friday they offer happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with deal drinks and discounted appetizers.

East Moon offers fast and efficient service. They’re ready to fill your drink before it’s near empty and the food comes out before you can finish your appetizer.

East Moon is one of my favorite restaurants. It is my desire to try everything on their menu. My favorite to date is the shrimp tempura. It is the best tempura I have ever eaten.

I agree 100% with all the statements in the article and subsequent comments. Also, given the prices and the serving sizes, East Moon offers great value.

One of the better Sushi restaurants in the area. They serve an elegant meal that is always fresh. On many occasions, the Sushi dish comes out tastefully arranged with clouds of smoke gently poring over your plate from the dry ice and LED garnish. If you enjoy Sushi or Asian food, you must try East Moon. It is great quality food and very reasonable prices
