DNA Connects Bowie Man to 2006 Burglary

Police say Evan Adams of Bowie was arrested and charged in connection to the burglary of a bowling alley on Annapolis Road.

 

A local man was arrested and charged with the 2006 burglary of a bowling alley on Annapolis Road in Bowie, according to police.

Prince George’s County Sheriffs arrested Evan Adams, 26, on Aug. 25 and charged him with burglarizing a local bowling alley and causing $2,300 of damage, according to the warrant. The suspect was connected to the crime when DNA recovered from the scene in 2006 was matched to Evans in March 2012.

Evans was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Prince George’s County Detention Center on charges of second-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property, according to a press release.
