Starting at 6:05 p.m., Baysox Fans fans can take part in an independence day barbeque, an apple pie eating contest, and an extended fireworks display after Wednesday's game against the Harrisburg Senators. Tickets range from $7 to $15 and can be purchased online here.
If you're just looking to knock back a few brews, DuClaw Brewing in Bowie is offering all draft beers for just $1 on July 4.
The city of bowie government will be closed on July 4, but someone will be answering phones at city hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For those still without power, BGE plans to have crews working around the clock to get electricity restored, and the Bowie Senior Center will remain open as a cooling center and shelter for those in need.
