Bowie State Murder Case Jury Begins Deliberations
The trial concluded today after three days of testimony.
The jury began deliberations on Thursday in the Bowie State University murder trial in which former student Alexis Simpson is charged with first degree murder in the death of her roommate, Dominique Frazier, according to a press release issued by the Prince George’s County State's Attorney's office.
Simpson, 20, is charged with allegedly killing Frazier, 18, in September 2011 after an argument between the two escalated to violence.
Simpson testified Thursday that she did not intend to kill Frazier and that she swung a knife in self defense, reported WJLA.
On Wednesday, a witness testified that Simpson may have killed Frazier unintentionally while the two were exchanging blows.
