Bowie Boys & Girls Club Bulldogs Head to Super Bowl
The Bulldogs will face off against undefeated Middle River this Saturday.
After winning a playoff game last week, the Bowie Boys & Girls Club Bulldogs football, ages 6 to 8 Liberty team, are headed to the league Super Bowl on Saturday.
They go into the game with a 9-2 record and the team and their coaching staff are feeling confident.
“We’re feeling pretty good. We have gotten better as the season has gone on and the team we beat last week, Thomas Johnson, beat us earlier in the season,” said Bulldogs head coach Eupton Jackson.
The kids will face off against Middle River at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Middle River heads into the game with an undefeated 11-0 record, but Jackson still feels good about the Bulldog's chances.
“They beat us 13-12 in overtime about a month ago,” said Jackson, whose 7-year-old son Eupsher is on the team.
The Bulldogs will take on Middle River at the Blandair Regional Park in Columbia.

Great exposure Bowie Patch! Coach Jackson and his staff have poured alot of hard work, passion and love into every player on this team. I have coached, as well as, been the parent on the other side of the fence and in this instance, I have enjoyed watching this team's confidence, skill set and continuity grow under this coaching staff's tutelage. Best of luck on Saturday team and "HOW'BOUT'DEMBULLDOGS?!"
