Another storefront in the Bowie Town Center has been left empty with the official relocation of Bed Bath & Beyond to Gambrills.

Although the store is still filled with merchandise, make no mistake--Bed Bath & Beyond in Bowie is closed for business. Patch learned last spring that the store was relocating about three miles north with no plans to open another store in Bowie.

Workers will be packing up the remaining merchandise over the next several days and sending the goods over to the new store.

Will you take your business three miles north to shop at Bed Bath & Beyond in Crofton, or will you find an alternative store for linens and home goods here in Bowie? What business would you like to see fill in recently vacated storefront?

Very sad....It was really convenient to stop there and was a nice store. I will shop at the Crofton location, but not as much -- not as convenient.

Charming Charlie in Bowie will be a welcome vendor; didn't shop at Rack Room much, anyways.

I would love to see a Trader Joe's in its place...Or an Aeropostle....

Would love to see a Forever 21 there. Is there any information on future closings?

I will take my business elsewhere. I called the 1-800 number and filed a complaint.
He we go again. Prince George's county residents treated like second class citizens.

a Whole Foods would be a very nice competitor to the Safeyway which in my opinion doesn't have the best quality of food anyways. I also hate having to drive to Annapolis to go to Whole Foods.
