A 22-year-old Glenn Dale resident reported an armed robbery on the 14600 block of Old Chapel Road Sunday night, according to a police report.

Bowie police responded to the armed robbery call at 9:35 p.m. Sunday. The victim told police that while he was walking, to men approached him from the side, demanding money. When the victim told the suspects he had no money, they demanded his North Face jacket, according to police. The suspects took the victims jacket and struck him with an unknown object that caused a laceration, states the report.

Officers did stop two possible suspects in a vehicle a short time after the report, but they were identified and released.

This case remains under investigation.
