Armed Robbery Reported on London Lane
The victim's purse was stolen but she was unharmed by the incident, according to police.
Bowie police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the 14000 block of London Lane on Tuesday just after midnight.
The suspect told police that after getting out of her car in the parking lot of her townhouse complex, she was making her way to her home when she noticed the suspect walking towards her.
According to the report, the suspect pointed an unknown weapon at the victim and demanded her purse, and then forcibly removed the purse from her shoulder and fled the scene.
Police, including a K9 unit, responded and canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The victim was not injured, but the suspect made off with her black Coach purse containing an Apple iPhone 3 and a Liz Claiborne brown leather wallet, according to the police report.

London Lane is a Townhouse Development Not an Apartment Complex. So, I just want to make sure where this occurred. I live across from London Lane and would like to have more of a watchful eye if it is in fact that area.

Do you know specifically where on the street it happened? The whole street is the 14000 block. I live on London Lane with 3 kids, so this is very concerning to me.

Sorry, Nicole, there was no actual address given. I'll call Bowie PD today and see if they can be more specific without revealing the victim's address.
