Congratulations to Seniors David Dan and James Scott-Ranson of Bowie High School on being recipients of the Posse Foundation Scholarship with eight other seniors from around the county.

David will be attending Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee and James is attending Pepperdine University in California.

The Posse Foundation has given 61 students in Prince George's County more than $6.4 million in scholarships since 2005. The foundation recruits and trains leaders from urban schools and sends them in "posses" of multicultural teams to top schools nationwide.
