M-NCPPC Now Accepting Applications for the 2013 Teen Cotillion
Parents and youth ages 14-17 are invited to participate in the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) Department of Parks and Recreation 2013 Teen Cotillion.
The Teen Cotillion is an exciting 16-week co-ed program that teaches teens about health and responsible citizenship. From January through May, participant teens attend a series of workshops, special events and service learning projects focused on leadership and growth. Career development, etiquette, social skills and team building activities are all part of the program.
The program ends on May 5, 2013 with a formal dinner and dance at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt where the debs and beaus formally make their debuts before families and friends.
M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting applications for participation in the 2013 Teen Cotillion until Friday, November 30, 2012. Applications can be submitted online at pgxtremeteens.com.
A 2013 Teen Cotillion interest meeting is being held tonight, November 7, 2012, from 7-9 pm at the Prince George’s Ballroom, 2411 Pinebrook Avenue Landover, MD 20785 for all interested teens and parents.
