Freestate Strikers - Champions of the 37th Annual Virginian Soccer Tournament

The Boys U-15 Freestate Strikers were crowned Champions this past Memorial Day Weekend after 5 grueling games at Draper Park Drive in Fairfax Virginia.  On two separate occasions, the Strikers overcame 1-0 deficits and 2-0 deficits respectively to pull out victories against strong competition against the Vista Venon of Virginia and the McLean Fire of Virginia.  One major highlight of the tournament was the opposing team issuing MVP patches to their opponent at the end of play.

The following players were recognized by our opponents for outstanding play and sportsmanship:

The Freestate Strikers compete regularly in the NCSL soccer league and throughout the region in various tournament year round.
