Bowie CLAW is working with the County Animal Facility and has developed an "Essentials for Animals" Program where we collect different items each month that will help the animals while they wait for their forever home so....

OCTOBER IS WHITE RICE AND SHOEBOX MONTH

WHITE RICE

While you are at the grocery store, we hope you remember the wonderful pets at the County
facility and pick up some white rice for the doggies.  The dogs sometimes get tired of eating the same thing so the County uses the rice to mix in with their normal feeding in order to give them a little variety and keep them eating.

SHOE BOXES

Do you have empty shoe boxes and are ready to throw them in the trash, wait. Please gather them up and donate them to the County for the kitties.  The kitties love to sleep and play in them.  What a treat they have when they can be entertained while waiting for their forever home.

So folks, we are asking you to get some white rice and shoe boxes and drop them off to any of our drop off locations which are listed below:
